Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asserted on Saturday that former head of,
In an interview with a private television channel, Khan, who recently made accusations against the former COAS, stated that General (retd) Bajwa's call to dismiss Buzdar was unusual.
Khan, who was ousted as prime minister in April following a no-confidence vote, said: "Usman Buzdar was urged to be dismissed by General (ret.) Bajwa. He will urge that Punjab's chief minister be Aleem Khan."
The former prime minister claimed that he told General (retd) Bajwa that Aleem was the subject of several accusations and that, as a result, he was ineligible to be named chief minister.
Aleem was not wanted as the chief minister of Punjab, according to the former prime minister, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
He referred to everyone involved in overthrowing his government as "Mir Jaffer and Mir Sadiq" and said that the policies of the former COAS Gen. Bajwa were to blame for everything that had transpired to PTI during the previous seven months.
He asserted that Gen (retd) Bajwa would predict that PML-N will lead the new government and that no one would accept a PTI ticket.
General (retired) Bajwa, according to Khan, allegedly controlled the National Accountability Bureau throughout his administration (NAB).
Bajwa had influence over NAB, hence he made decisions regarding admission and release. The PTI leader remarked, "It was not in our control.
He claimed that the previous army commander will decide who should and shouldn't be detained.
"We lacked the necessary power. Those who did helped them by offering relief. We had no influence over NAB. He claimed that the military was powerful everywhere.
The former prime minister continued by saying that he was instructed to handle the economy and hand over responsibility to them.
Dissolution of the Assembly and Nawaz's return
In response to questions about the dissolution of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies, Khan disclosed that he would do it this month.
The PTI leader added that although CM Elahi thinks the government should continue for a little while longer, he will follow the PTI's lead and dissolve the legislature.
"Parvez Elahi has promised to follow my instructions about the dissolution of the Punjab government. The former premier claimed that Parvez Elahi had not asked to be made the chief minister once more.
The former premier criticised the PDM-led administration and said that the multi-party alliance was "working hard" to have him removed from office.
He continued, "[PML-N] chief Nawaz Sharif is trying to dismiss all cases against me and disqualify me."
Khan clarified the current state of affairs in the nation while reiterating his call for elections and establishing a link between political stability and economic prosperity.
"They [PDM] would lose whether they hold elections now or in 10 or a year," he asserted.
The PTI president claimed that individuals who joined the PDM after leaving the party were punished in the by-elections because the party won the bulk of the seats up for grabs in Punjab, which were held in July.
Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), will not return unless his cases are dismissed, Khan stated in a statement condemning the decision. He will be taken into custody if he travels to Punjab..
The former prime minister continued by saying that General (ret.) Bajwa thought Shehbaz Sharif was "a genius."
