Nawaz Sharif, the head of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), gave the party's leadership instructions on Saturday to be ready for the Punjab elections.
According to a statement from Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, the PML-N elder made these comments during a consultation meeting of the party in London.
According to sources, the meeting was also attended in person and via video link by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, and other senior members of the ruling party.
According to Aurangzeb, Nawaz also gave the party the get-ahead to create a parliamentary board and instructed all employees to "move ahead with full passion, confidence, full preparation, and strength."
"Nawaz Sharif will win for the Pakistan Muslim League-N, inshallah.
The senior PML-N leaders were given instructions in the meeting to organise workers across Punjab, according to sources. "The election should be actively participated in by our candidates, remarked Nawaz.
According to the sources, it was also resolved during the meeting to notify the populace of the "harm" Imran Khan's PTI government has allegedly done to the nation.
The leader of the PML-N further stated that Khan has "undemocratic mindset" and that nothing positive can be anticipated from him.
The PML-N leader allegedly said: "The corruption that originated from Imran Khan's own residence during his term will be me made public."
The Punjab Assembly was disbanded shortly after Nawaz's directive because Governor Baligh Ur Rehman refused to sign the summary for the dissolution of the parliament.
The provincial elections will now occur within 90 days in accordance with the regulations. Mahmood Khan, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has declared that the provincial legislature will also be dissolved today.
